spark, unfiltered. i grew up knowing i’d be a writer. instead, i became a lawyer. for awhile, i was a prosecutor in the courtrooms of brooklyn, and for another while i was/am a corporate attorney.

i’ve always loved to write, from letters to journaling, and poetry. (tidbit: i’m working on a book of poetry).

i grew up in the bay area and am a proud Stanford undergrad (’03) and Stanford Law School (’06) alum.

some eight or so years ago, i moved out to nyc after law school and have been here ever since. i’ve “grown up” in new york in a sense, these past eight years. it was also in nyc that I met my husband.

some of my blog revolves around the shenanigans this city inevitably inspires, some around my travels, and a lot around whatever sparks my interest.

i hope my blog makes you laugh, smile, and/or pause and wonder.

yours truly,
